Save-n ’07! comprises four schoolmates from Nanyang Girls’ High School, who aspired to raise public awareness about the emotional and financial help provided by Club Rainbow (Singapore) to its beneficiaries.

The team recruited 250 volunteers through mass emails, online bulletins and through their school, where their volunteering hours were counted into their Community Involvement Programme hours. During the street sales, they sold collar-pins and badges from Club Rainbow, as well as specially designed message cards by their school Arts Elective Programme student volunteers.

The team also held a chinese classical music charity concert, TheONE! on the 25th August, with performers from Nanyang Girls’ High School Chinese Orchestra, the GECO ensemble and many other young soloists who had obtained awards in National Chinese Music competitions.

As part of their public awareness efforts, the team also conducted talks in their school about Club Rainbow (Singapore). During their charity concert, the Club Rainbow (Singapore) corporate video was screened the message of the help needed by the chronically ill children and teenagers. The combined effort has enabled the team to raise a total amount of $11,077.60 for Club.
